Background
Science and Technical Officer at the River Restoration Centre (RRC). RRC is the national expert advice centre for best practice river restoration, habitat enhancement and catchment management. It is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a focal point for the exchange and dissemination of information and expertise. The Centre also provides advice on site-specific technical issues through a core team of experienced staff and a wider network of experienced river restoration practitioners.
Current activities
- River restoration project work for the River Restoration Centre (RRC).
- Organisation of Scientific Advances in River Restoration (SARR) conference.
- Coordination of RRC's River Restoration Hubs - regional centers of river restoration excellence and best practise around the UK.
