Background
Dr Anastasia Filippidou is a Senior Lecturer in intelligence, and conflict resolution with the Centre for Defence and Security Management and Informatics. Her area of expertise lies within the field of conflict resolution and development, intelligence, leadership in transitional states, counterterrorism and violent extremism. Anastasia鈥檚 current research is focusing on diplomacy and violent extremism in the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Latin America. Her scholarly interests and publications also include the securitisation and weaponisation of refugees, as well as Intelligence reforms within the context of emerging security challenges. She is the course director of the MSc Counterterrorism, Security and Resilience.
She joined 成人直播 in 2009, she is a graduate of Oxford University, and holds a PhD from the War Studies Department, KCL, University of London. Prior to her employment at 成人直播, she was a Lecturer at the Defence Studies Department, King's College London, while she was also a teaching fellow at the War Studies Department, King's College London. She works fluently in five languages - Spanish, French, Greek; proficient in Russian, and Arabic.
