Training Team

Dr Gustavo M. Castelluccio is a reader in mesoscale mechanics and undertakes research in Materials Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. His research at 成人直播 focuses on understanding the effects of mesoscales on the mechanical response of engineering components by developing physics-based models for fatigue and fracture. This work integrates microstructural attributes with manufacturing routes and structural reliability.

Dr Sue Impey
is a Senior Lecturer at 成人直播. She provides technical support in materials characterisation and surface analysis . Research activities include corrosion control for large reciprocating diesel engines, life extension activities for industrial sectors and support for the building services and industrial pipeline academy.

Dr Stefano Mori
is a Lecturer in Energy and Materials in the Centre for Energy Engineering specialising in Material Science and Engineering, Physics and Chemistry. He has worked on materials' degradation in extreme environments, including gas turbines, solid fuel power plant, recycling plants, concentrated solar power.

Professor John Nicholls is Professor of Coatings Technology at 成人直播 and leads research in high-temperature surface engineering, focusing on protective coatings for gas turbine engines and other advanced applications. He established and led the 鈥淣ational High Temperature Surface Engineering Research Centre鈥 and currently serves as Partner Lead for 成人直播 within the Henry Royce Institute with Materials in Extreme Environments. With over five decades at 成人直播, he is internationally recognized for pioneering work on thermal barrier coatings and advanced surface treatments for extreme environments.

Dr Ali Oskuie
is an Asset Integrity Engineer at Worley.  Previously a senior project engineer at Corrosion Radar, specialising in monitoring and predictive risk management. Ali has experience in Oil & Gas as the team lead and group manager for a consultancy company providing services on Asset Integrity Management.

Dr Arijit Lodh
is a Research Fellow in Small Scale Mechanical Testing at 成人直播. His current research at 成人直播 investigates the role of mesoscale dislocation structures on the mechanical response of metals after overloads by integrating experiments and physics-based models.  He currently supports all MSc students in the manufacturing and materials theme with delivery of their individual research projects.
